Now That Your Ads Are Online Make Sure You Understand The Process!

Ad words are an inexpensive and powerful advertising technique! As an advertiser, here are some basics everyone advertising online with us should know.

1) There are several different kids of ads:

Search ads. These are text only ads that appear in a Google search results page when a user is looking for your product or service. These are wonderful ads for consumer driven products and services that users look for using a Google search tool.

Search ads come in a couple of different flavors. One type or ads that drive traffic to your website. The goal is to get the reader to a landing page, deliver some basic content, and encourage them to engage with your site via contact form or click to call button. This is very useful for sites where the conversion process happens online instead of on the phone.

Call only ads are another flavor of search advertising. In those cases our goal is for someone to call your office as soon as they see your ad for more information. This allows your sales team to convert the lead instead of your website.

Display ads. These ads are visual graphic ads with images and text that promote the product or service you are selling. These ads appear on websites, mobile apps, games, or YouTube videos. These are ads that appear when a user is engaging with online content like yours and sees your ad appear.

Re-Marketing is a specific kind of display ad where a user who has visited your website in the past will continue to see your ad appear as they navigate through the web to visit other websites. Re-Marketing is a specific kind of display ad.

Native ads appear where branded messages fit seamlessly within their surrounding environment, engaging audiences rather than disrupting the user experience. Promoted search results, content article promotion and sponsored social media posts are popular examples of native ads. This strategy works well for blogs.

Our advertising staff will advise you which strategy will work best for your business based on our intake with you.

2) Targeting and What is Means:

With Google ads we can target geographically. For example, if your product or service only appeals to people within a 50 mile radius of your location we can target only those individuals. We can also target by language, or countries. We can also excluded languages are countries.

We can target and audience based on the kind of websites they have previously visited. This gives us a sense of their interests. Google display advertising does not allow us to know a person‘s profession but we CAN target by interests or the types of websites they visit. These are affinity audiences.

We can target by age and income as well. Furthermore, we can control the kinds of places the ads appear on line. PLEASE NOTE: an advertising website MUST be in the Google ad network to place your ads there. Our expert staff uses our experience and training to determine where your ads appear.

3) What Flat Rate Means:

Advertising through most agencies can be expensive investment. Here, we’ve come up with innovative and successful ways to help our clients market their work through digital advertising.

Our flat rate monthly plans include not only the cost to run your ads online, but the cost incurred by our marketing department to: complete graphic design for display ads as applicable, set up keywords as applicable for search ads, set up affinity audiences, write ad copy, monitor on going advertising and make adjustments, for example, adding negative keywords, adjusting keywords, and making other modifications to the system so your ads are more likely to succeed online.

4) How The Budget Works:

To that end, we deduct our time in the remaining time is allocated for ad placement. Our campaigns run monthly (generally in 3-month campaigns). The allocated budget is then spread out over 30 days. Think of your advertising budget as the pantry food resources that need to last you a month. The goal would not be to use all your pantry food items with a large feast on day one and spend the remaining part of the month without nourishment. We online advertising we take the allocated budget and use a little bit each day.

This means your ads are not online 24/7 for 30 days. For larger budgets continued online advertising is more visible. For lower budgets like our $199 and $299 a month plans, the ads come on midnight each day and remain online until the daily budget has been used. For example, if your daily budget is $5 and your clicks are $.33 a piece, after 15 people have clicked on your website on day one your ads will go off-line and return again the next day.

5) The Proof is in the Metrics:

It’s also important to understand with display advertising that the ad rotate throughout multiple websites. So a display ad may appear on website in one hour, and another website at another hour. So catching your online ads and seeing them in real time can be nearly impossible depending on where you’re at is appearing at that moment in the Google network, and how many people have viewed or could your ad and utilized your budget for that day. In lieu of real-time screenshots we provide verified Google metric reporting at the end of each month.
